COVID-19 Policy
The health and safety of our residents and staff is our top priority, along with transparent communication to our families and community. This page outlines our current COVID-19 policies and procedures, which are based on the latest guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local health authorities.
Vaccination
We strongly encourage all residents and staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Vaccination is the most effective way to prevent serious illness, hospitalization, and death from COVID-19. Residents and staff are strongly encouraged to be vaccinated and boosted. We can assist residents in scheduling vaccination appointments, if needed.
Masking
Masking is currently optional for residents and staff in common areas. However, we may require masking again if there is a significant increase in COVID-19 cases in the community or within our facility as directed by local, state, and federal guidance and requirements.
Visitor Policy
We are currently welcoming visitors. If at any time local or state officials request limitations in visitation, we will update our policy. If you have had a positive COVID test, we ask that you adhere to the current CDC guidelines (https://doh.wa.gov/sites/default/files/2022-02/COVIDcasepositive.pdf) as it relates to visiting our residents.
Testing
We may conduct routine COVID-19 testing of residents and staff, depending on the current COVID-19 situation.
We continue to follow recommendations given by the local health departments and the CDC to decrease our risk of exposure. Frequent handwashing with soap and water is essential for preventing the spread of COVID-19. Our housekeeping staff regularly cleans and disinfects all common areas and resident apartments. In the event of a positive diagnosis of COVID, residents and their designated emergency contact will be notified by the Executive Director. Regular updates will be sent out thereafter.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping to keep our residents and staff safe and healthy.
